My Trados toolbar has disappeared from my word window...

Can anyone indicate me where it is explained how I can get this back...I have been playing around with Word, but don't seem to be able to find where and how I can include this toolbar in Word..

Help would be appreciated!

Tools / Templates and add-ins May 10, 2004

Under the Tools menu, open Templates and add-ins. You should see it there. Just check the box and it will reappear immediately after you close the Templates and add-ins dialog box.

You might have been using an application that disables (unchecks) other templates and add-ins. For example, if you have Fusion installed, when you launch Word, you're asked if you want to disable the Trados toolbar. Even if you answer yes, it will reappear the next time you launch Word.

Best,
Esther

I had already figured it out that far: extra-templates &add-ins....but then...there is nothing present there. I have nothing to add to the list: it is gone!

If you could help me some more, I would be very grateful, as I really need to finish a text...

click on toolbar, and choose tw4win from the popup... May 10, 2004

click on toolbar, and choose tw4win from the popup. exit office, and restart it. if tw4win doesn\'t appear on the popup, copy TRADOS6.dot from CD to c:\documents and settings\your name\application data\microsoft\word\starup.

What happened? May 10, 2004

!. Try rebooting your computer and launching Word again. Make sure you log in as a user who has permission to access Trados.

2. If this doesn't work, you'll have to think about what you've been doing recently. Did you delete folders?

3. If you've been deleting folders, just reinstall Trados. No big deal, just a few minutes. But prior to that, make sure you have a STATUP folder. Under the Tools menu, open Options, then the File Locations tab. See what it says about startup. If you damaged Word as well, you'll need to reinstall it. No big deal, just a few minutes...

Had a similar problem with SDL Trados 2007 / Word 2007 Jan 28, 2010

Had a similar problem with my SDL Trados 2007 / Word 2007. I upgraded to SDL Trados 2009 and everything was working fine. One day I see that the Trados Add-In disappeared from the Word 2007 tab, while the Multiterm Add-In was still there. Checked my license and installations, everything was in order. It took me a while to figure it out and go in Word to Word Options>Add-Ins. I noticed that the Trados Add-In was on the Disabled Add-Ins list. Just highlight Trados Add-In, change to Manage Disabled Add-Ins and click on Go. You will then have to re-start your Word and the Add-In will show up.
