Hello,

I'm working on a .ttx file with TagEditor 7.0, but when I try to save the target text I get the following error message:

Filter definition not found : Trados Indesign Filter 1.0.0.0.

I have checked other discussions on this topic but couldn't find a solution to my problem. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked that you actually have the filter definition file on your computer?

On mine it is in Programs -> SDL Internaional -> T2007_FL -> TT -> Filters -> InDesignFilter.

If not, do a search on your PC for the file with name "TradosIndesignFilter1.0.0.0" and copy it into that folder.

Thanks, Hazel,

No, I didn't have it. But I managed to find it, and I've saved it as you indicated, but I still get the same error message... :-S

Hello Yaiza,

please try this:

- Make a backup copy of the TTX file;
- Open the file in Notepad by right click -> Open with...
- Search the text "TRADOS Indesign Filter 1.0.0.0" (without quotation marks)
- Change "Indesign" to "InDesign"

WARNING: If you can't find "TRADOS Indesign Filter 1.0.0.0", look for "TRADOS InDesign Filter 1.0.0.0" and change the "InDesign" to "Indesign" instead!

- Save the file with Notepad
- Try to save the target file with Tageditor, and check if everything is OK.
- If it works, thank me. If it doesn't, let me know!

Regards,

Fabio

TRADOS version too old Nov 13, 2011

Thanks, guys,

I tried Fabio's suggestion too, but it didn't work. I believe my TRADOS needs an upgrade...

Thank you anyway for your help. Very much appreciated!

Regards,
Yaiza
