Hello,

I have a raw text file with content generally similar to this:

Button cbVerboseLog '', 'Verbose log'
TabSheet tsFiles '', 'Files and Directories'
Label lHomeDir '', '&Home Directory'
Button bHomeDir '', 'Browse'
Button bClearHome '', 'Clear'
GroupBox gbAttach '', 'Attachments'
Label lAttachDir '', '&Directory'

All translatable parts are enclosed in single quotes ('example'), even when empty. Is there a way I create new tag settings that would define the above mentioned? I mean, I want to import my file in TagEditor and see all other parts as protected tags and only the enclosed part as translatable?

Thanks.

Use Word for this Nov 13, 2011

It has a quite sophisticated search and replace function, where you can get patterns for what is before ' and after that sign. Use those patterns and replace by themselves, however formatted as hidden text.
When you open this file in TagEditor the hidden text will not be available for translation.
This is the easiest and fastest way for me.

Wow. Really impressed that it is as simple as that. I made it, it is quite OK.

Thanks
