Hello.
I got two .ttx files from a client today two be translated with TE. One just about 10 words, the other a couple of thousand. The smaller opened ok, however when attempting to open the other one, windows gives me a typical crash dialog - This program has stopped working... Windows will close. They apparently are both convesions of .doc files. I actualy had to refuse the job because of this... Any clue what could solve this?
Have tried so far to resize the TagEditor wind... See more

Hi Cristian,
Sometimes large ttx files cause a freeze. Instead of double clicking and opening the file, first open Translator's Workbench and TagEditor and then open the file from the file menu. It works for me.

Reduce the width of the TE window
Nov 28, 2011
to be about the half to maximum two third of the full width of your screen and try again. Reduce the width further, if it does not work yet. With try and error you will find the appropriate setting
