Hi,
does anyone know where I can choose the deximal separator to be used in my translation? Currently the Autopropagate function is automatically using commas in my German translation. But I'd like to use points (they are actually not deximals but paragraph numbers).
Best regards,
Sylvia

Handling numbers in Studio 2011 Dec 16, 2011

Hi Sylvia,

I think the best way to handle this problem is to treat the numbers a different way. There is a blog article here that might be useful for you:

http://blog.sdl.com/blog/2011/10/studio-and-freestyle-documents.html

It doesn't work as you asked because you can't change the seperator as we automatically check against the Microsoft culture sets for each language pair being used, but this approach might be helpful and give you an idea how to handle your usecase.

Regards

Paul

Thank you Dec 17, 2011

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the link. The solution wasn't as helpful as I had hoped - I think this was easier to handle in former Trados-Versions - but at least the problem is solved now.

Best regards,
Sylvia
