Hi all,

I want to print a bilingual TTX as a PDF.
The intention is to show the client which tags are protected, and what text that shows up as translatable.

But in TagEditor (8.3) the Print option is greyed out. I can't print the TTX as PDF or any other format.
I was trying the Trados Tagviewer plug-in, but it doesn't display the tag content, so it's no good for my purpose.

A last resort would be to just take screen shots of the TTX, but it doesn't look very professional.

only html documents can be printed directly from TagEditor, please see the info in the TagEditor help:

I assume that in your case it is not html?

Therefore, I would create screen shots explaining to the customer that the editor you use (maybe on his specific request?) doesn't allow other options.

Thanks a lot for your explanation!
Unless anyone else has a workaround, I'll have to go with the screenshots.

I guess SDL never thought of this intendented use. I don't want to print the resulting target document, only what I see in front of my eyes when I open the TTX in TagEditor, with the protected tags.
