do_not_translate in Studio 2009 and 2011

My project has a list of do_not_translate phrases that i am trying to apply. In memoQ there is the cincept of a do not translate list. But in Trados, all I can find is a Word format for the purpose.
Since we are using the Trados Studio GUI instead of Word, the format is meaningless.
After a half hour of searching, i find no reference to anything like such a list in TS 2009 or 2011.
Help, please!
