Hi everyone:

I just upgraded to SDL Trados Studio 2011 Freelance and it's really good!

However, I'm having a problem with File dates and time.

When I complete a translation of any particular file, the date and time of the last update is not correct. It seems like taking the date and time from another country, but after updating the file, the time doesn't change, so it's acting as "Opening time" and not "last update time".

Can anyone give me some hints on where to change the date/time of a project or file? or potential reasons for this?

Thanks in advance!

Any answer? Jul 26, 2012

Hello Gabriel,
Did you figure out how to fix this problem? I have the same one with both Trados 2007 and 2009 since I reinstalled them on my new computer... I would love to know how to have the correct date and time on my documents...
Thank you!

Hi Morgane:

Unfortunately not.

Nobody replied and, since this is not crucial, I forgot it.

If I happen to solve it, I will update this post.

Please do the same.

Thanks!

for me the file modification dates ARE crucial May 24, 2013

just trying to bump this thread in case someone would have found an answer.

i manage files based on their modification dates, and studio drives me nuts with whatever it is doing. whoever came up with this idea must've only worked on one file in his/her lifetime.

do we know if it's using the project initiator's time zone, or ...?
