Did anybody make the experience that SDL TRados Studio 2011 collides with certain antivirus software and/or web browsers? If so, how did you solve this problem?

Working with Trados alone, everything is perfect - as long as both the Internet Explorer and AVG Anti-Virus (or AVIRA Anti-virus) are disabled. Otherwise TRADOS crashes every 30 minutes and for the remaining time it is very slow. This drives me mad... I am quicker without TRADOS...icon_frown.gif(

Anybody with similar experience and an idea as to a solution? Thanks.

Just an idea Feb 7, 2012

What if you add Trados and Multierm to the exception list of your antivirus software?

I have done this already, not only TRADOS but all the SW I use...
