How to update the source to get a lower word count analysis in trados?

Hi everyone,

I'm working in a translation company.

One our client raised a qurey a few days ago.
They are wondering how to get a lower word count analysis in trados after they update the source.

Till now, I only got three points below.
1. Use more short sentences in the source.
2. The XML structure should be more standard and consistent.
3. Use Xtranslation before word analysis.

I will be highly appreciated if someone can give me more advice.
The professional and detailed guide is the most thing i'm looking forward.

Thank you very much!
