I am a new user of trados, and I guess I am asking a quite stuip question:)

I have "...rtf.ttx" files to be translated, plus TM at hand

Should I usd Tageditor for the translation?

I tried already open rtf.ttx files in Tageditior, and it just shows in a way with great translation unconvenience:

Thanks in advance!

You can also Feb 17, 2012

open and edit ttx files using SDLX, if you have got it, which - in my opinion - is more user friendly than Tag Editor.

Or Studio will do it too Feb 18, 2012

You can also work on them with Studio, if that is the version that you have. In Studio 2009 you need to do a little manipulation before you can open .ttx files, but as you say you are a new user you probably have Studio 2011 which means (as far as I know, as I don't have it yet) that you can just work on the file directly.
