Why does my screen turn all white when I try to open Trados 2007?

To be honest I got it going after many attempts Feb 23, 2012

however, now I got another problem.. it is a pptx file and I cannot see the Trados toolbar when I create the memory in workbench. Do i need to connect anything, in which case, what name shall I give to the TM server name?

Open your TM.
Open TE.
From TE open PPTX.
Translate and Save target as... (the same .pptx).

That's all.

It is easy when you can do it.

I have another question for you. How do I export the memory in TMX format? Tks!

On your Workbench menu: Feb 24, 2012

Open "File".
Click on "Export".
Click "Ok".
Save as TMX.

That's it.
