Hi everybody,

I just finished a job and the client asked me for the tmx.
I never did this before. Usually agencies extract it from my file.
So I need your help to understand how it works and finally learn it.

I use SDL Trados 2007 Freelance, version
The file is a .doc and I was using the Trados tool bar in MSWord.

Thanks a lot

Workbench Feb 23, 2012

I suppose you used Workbench so all you have to do is open Workbench and export your language combination and save your tmx or am I missing something?

You need the right filters Feb 23, 2012

Bernard nearly has it right, but you don't want to give the client your entire memory (that's your IP). Instead, open the Export window (in the File menu), then "Last Used:" from the Field list and choose the correct date under "Criterion:" (the date you started working on the file). Then click "Add", then "OK". That should export all the appropriate segments.
