Trados 2009: how to "update" a document with a new version?

I have a document (software specification) to translate which is frequently updated. So I add every new version to the project, apply my existing TM to it and continue to work with new version only. I don't need old versions of the document in the project (Trados) and delete them.

Is there a way in Trados to do a such thing with merely one action?

... but you could look around in the batch tasks setups. Maybe you could shave off a step or two there?
