I have my fuzzy match set at 70%, but my Trados often suggests 54% matches and matches that look like this:

How to fix it?

I use SDL Trados Studio 2009

Thank you!

Tools Options vs Project Settings Mar 6, 2012

Hi,

Perhaps you are changing the setting in Tools -Options for a Project you have already created? This will have no affect. Maybe look in Project Settings and change the lookup values there.

Regards

Paul

Same problem Jul 2, 2012

I have the same problem using Studio 2009, but I have set my preferences in Project Settings as requested.

Funny thing is that even if I disable all existing TMs, I still get fuzzy matches in each translation unit. They seem to start at 50%, which really is a lot more of a nuisance than helpful! How do I clear all segments?

It seems like it has been pre-translated, though I didn't ask for it to do so. In Project Settings I have asked for Trados to leave target segments empty.

Any thoughts?
