Hi all,

I'm having problems with bold tags in Trados 2007. Sometimes the text in one segment remains in bold formatting even after a slash cf tag and adding more of them will not change a thing.

Has anyone faced that problem before and what is the way around it? Is there a tag pair for "clean"/ unbold formatting?

Don't care about screen formatting in TagEditor Mar 9, 2012

As long the tags are placed correctly, the screen formatting does not matter at all.
The best way to avoid such problems is to switch off the screen formatting for TE completely. However you would need to recreate the TTX file now in order to have this change implemented.

To switch off formatting go to Filter Settings and change this:

This shows the necessary options just for one file type. Change the same setting respectively for other file types too.
