I'm trying to analyse several mif files converted to SDLXLIFF by my employer (using Studio 2011).

I get the error message "No filter definition set" and when I look in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio1\Filters there are no Framemaker filters at all there. Just InDesign, JavaResource, OpenOffice and RC.

Am I doing something wrong? Where can I find these filter definitions?

However, the file type for Frame has been redesigned in Studio 2011 AFAIK, so even if you manage to get this file type back (it must be in the location as you list), you may still have trouble in working with MIF.SDLXLIFF files from Studio 2011. Thanks for replying. I am a bit puzzled though. My software is fully updated, should I still try to apply the patch in the KB article you mention?

Is there nowhere to just download the file type definitions? I'm quite happy if I can just analyse the files. Translating them seems to work fine.

Best regards
Michael
