Hello,
I need to reinstall windows on one of my computers. How do I uninstall trados 2011. Is it the same as for 2009/2007?

Thank you for your help, but this information is for trados 209/2007, I would like to know if the procedure is the same for 2011.

I have Studio 2011 opened, and am l looking at Help - Licensing - SDL licensing videos.

Hi Kathleen,

Studio 2011 works in a similar way to Studio 2009 in that (as a rule) you have to return your license and activate a license online. However, we have implemented a new licensing system for Studio 2011 so it is far easier to use.

If you go to your My Account and then onto My Licenses you will find licensinig videos there that relate to 2011 and as Natailie advised you can also use the Help.

If you had to reinstall windows and didn't return your license first then you will probably have to contact the Licensing Support team to reset your license so you can use it again.

Go to the Knowledgebase;

Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now go here;

Licensing Problems
- I have lost one of my license activations and would like to have it reset.

This will bring up a form that you can fill in to generate a support request and you will be contacted, normally within a working day.
