I'm after reinstalling my OS and cannot seem to get the Trados interface working properly in Office. I've got Windows XP SP3 and Trados 2007 Freelance.

I tried adding the Trados template file (via Microsoft Options - Add-inns...) and also enabled macros. Then the Trados tab and the individual symols appeared but it looks all wonky and doesn't actually work.

Apologies if this has been raised before but I couldn't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance

Maria

Hi Maria,
Try to reinstall Trados and Office once again, it could help you.

you added the wrong template, i.e. TRADOS8.dot instead of the correct one, TRADOS8.dotm?

Thanks ever so much, Zoltán! I was pretty sure I had added the correct template but just tried again and here we go!
