I need to analyse one source file against another in Trados Workbench 2007. What would be the quickest way to create a TM from a source file for that purpose (the target text can be anything)?
I think the quickest way is to create an empty TM and then analyse the first file. Workbench will build a temporary TM during this process. You then remove the first file and add the second. Make sure you check Use TM from previous analysis and click analyse. The results should be the differences between the two manuals.
