Hi,
I have been working with Trados 7 freelance for many years on Windows XP. Now my computer is having a lo of problems and I decided to buy a new one. This has Windows 7 32-bit. Apart from the fact that I must give back my license for having it available for the new computer, I inserted the Trados installation CD in the new computer and it says it is incompatible....
Is it true?
What could I do?
Buy a(nother) new computer?
I really need your help because I can't find a solution on my own, unless it implies spending a lot of money (that I do not have!)

thank you for you help
stefania

Virtual Machine May 16, 2012

You could use a Virtual Machine. VMware Workstation is a good option. Just install your Windows XP and Trados 7 in the VM. You can then switch with one click between the two OS.
