May I buy Trados in another country?

Hallo,

I live in Germany and work as a freelance translator from Czech into German - mainly for czech clients. May I buy SDL Trados Freelance 2011 in Czech Republic + for czech prices?

I don't think you can.

If I remember it right from when I purchased Trados online, there is an automatic check of the registered address of your credit card (or something like that) so you will not be able to select a different country than your residential country and therefore not able to purchase at a lower price.

You could always try though

Hi - go to SDL.com and look for the local Czech reseller, they usually have good rates and/or special deals, or at least they did in South Africa!
