Hi

I´ve got a pptx.ttx file to translate in Trados 2011 and have to create a new TM. However, when I open the document it opens straight away without going to the open document screen with the option of creating a new TM.

I´ve made a new TM, but don´t know how to apply it to this translation and get it to save the work.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Assign TM to language pair Jun 11, 2012

Under Options - Language pairs- Translation memory and Automated translations you can add the new TM and save the settings. Should work.

If your document is already open in the Editor window, make sure you follow Heinrich's instructions starting from Project>project settings>options... (don't go through Tools>options because that won't change the setting in your current project).
