I just finished a 40-pages translation and now Trados wont let me save the target file, I keep getting this error message:
Failed to save target content - Mismatch in Unique ID
Origin: File writing

I have no idea what this refers to and couldn't find anything on the forum, SDL help or youtube.
The only file format it is giving me in the drop-down menu ist Word (which is the format of the original file).

Can anybody help me out, please? I have to deliver this translation tomorrow and I am ready to climb up a tree by now ....

Many thanks in advance for your help

If the QA check did not help... Jun 12, 2012

... see this thread:;.html#1961336

Then if you can send me the original source file and the fully translated sdlxliff I would be happy to take a look and see if I can help.

1- Try to save the file as a different version (if it's a .doc try to save it in .docx, for instance). Open it again and associate the same TM. You may want also want to rename the file. It seems like a DOI (digital object identification) problem.
