Leverage local TM vs. Kit TM

During the “translate document” step, can Trados 2007 Translator's Workbench leverage both a local TM and one provided in a T-kit? Let's say the kit has a 75% match, but my local TM has a 90% match for the same segment. Can Trados prefer the local matches if they are higher? If so, how is this done? Just to be clear, this question regards using the translate action in the workbench, not interactive translation in Word.

You need to use Studio Jun 13, 2012

Workbench can only use one TM at a time, so you could import your Kit TM into your local one I suppose... but another solution would be to use Studio which allows you to use as many TMs as you like, will take the highest match always, and can also place penalties on the different TMs to force a particular order in the event you have equal matches from the different TMs but a preferred translation in one over another.
