I bought SDL Trados Studio 2011 Freelance Plus + 2007 and installed Trados 2007 to my new PC(OS:Win7 pro 32bit) since I need it for my new project.
Before I installed Trados 2007 I installed Multiterm 2011 to the same PC.

I converted terminology file on .xls format to .xdt format to make a terminology base by Multiterm, then start up Trados 2007 workbench.
Then I opened term recognition option to configure Multiterm version but I could not find Multerm 2011 in the combo box but only 5 and 9.

So I choose Multiterm 9 because still it seemed better than choosing 5. Then I select the terminology base that I made on Multiterm.

Next I opened a target document on Tag Editor with expectation that workbench will work, but my workbench did not show a word.

I tried every possible solutions I could find on the internet and I could imagine including turning off anti-virus and UAC and re-installed both Trados and Multiterm several times and still it doesn't work.

Now I doubt that it is because Trados 2007 doesn't refer to Multiterm 2011 for some incompatibility reason, but not sure.

If anybody knows why it doesn't work and how to work it out please advise me.

I found the solution Jun 17, 2012

There was nothing wrong with Trados and Multiterm.

I clicked all buttons on tag editor randomly and suddenly the texts popped up on workbench.
I just started using this software and too ignorant about it.

Thanks everyone for taking your time for reading it.
I will erase this post as soon as I can do it.
