Vertical source and translation window in Studio?

Is it possible to have the source and translation window on top of each other instead of side-by side?
IF NOT - MAKE IT POSSIBLE!
And fix that annoying error with letter next to tag not marked.
SDL bundles 2007 and should still fix the bugs...

Sure, it's possible ... just export your SDLXLIFF to Word, using the "top-down" layout type instead of "side-by-side":



It's the only concession to horizontality in Studio that I'm aware of.

The latest version of memoQ (6.0.4, released a few minutes ago) lets you display the active segment in a top-down fashion in the middle of the editor:
