I have Trados Studio 2011 and wish to use my old .txt translation memory file here. I need to convert this file to .sdltm to use it, but how? Any tips?

If you have T2007 as well, you can create a new TM, import the TXT there and then upgrade the T2007 TM to SDLTM.
Or, even easier, you can click on Upgrade Translation Memories > Add File-Based Translation Memories and select "WinAlign Export (TXT)" from the "File Type" drop-down list in the dialog box.
