We are delighted to announce that SDL Trados Studio 2011 SP2 has launched and is now available in the 'My downloads' section of your SDL account.

Feature highlights of this release are:

Feature highlights of this release are:

  • Open Microsoft Word documents with active tracked changes in the source - ideal for organizations working in regulated industries, or where it is necessary to closely monitor changes to documentation

  • Edit source content - you now have the ability to make small edits to the source text when translating Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files

  • Easier external review - SDLXLIFF Converter is now integrated into the software

  • Enhanced project management capabilities with Studio GroupShare

  • Additional functionality for SDL WorldServer customers - improved file and package usability and easier to use TM provider plug-in interface
