Hello Jean-Paul,
the "Apply Translation" button is greyed-out if there is no match in the translation memory for the current segment.

To confirm the segment and save your translation into the translation memory, simply press CTRL+ENTER or the Confirm button in the toolbars.

does it appear into the concordance matches? Jul 18, 2012

After having confirmed a segment and saved my translation into the TM, does the segment appear into the "Concordance Matches"? thanks

Yes Jul 18, 2012

I suggest you do the following:
1. Translate and confirm a segment
2. Go back to this segment and check if the translation appears in the TM pane (it should display a CM – Context Match)
3.
- If your translation is stored in the TM, try to use Concordance; it should be working
- If your translation is not stored in the TM, then check your TM settings: something must be wrong with them
