Hi everybody.

I have this unconfortable problem with Trados Studio and Windows 7 with Office Starter 2010 installed.
Every time I try to preview a Word document (even created from scratch in Word Starter 2010 and even after exporting a previous version of the file into Word docx 2010), the following message appears after clicking "Preview" on the left menu "View":
Word 2007 or 2010 must be installed to preview *.docx/*.doc files.

Should I buy the complete version? (My PC came with Office Starter installed, that's why I am trying to resist...). By the way: which version?

Or should I perhaps install the "Click-to-run" version?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Susanna,

Yes, you need the full version, and not the click-to-run version (voice of experience).

Same message with the full version Oct 30, 2012

I get the same message, but I have the full version of Word 2007. Any suggestions?
