Hello,
I am having issues with my TM- I moved them to another file and now the problem-with-TM's-location-problem keeps popping although I already browsed the new location. It is very annoying to open TRADOS and waste 2 minutes clicking the cancel button.
How can I fix this?
Thanks

Same problem here
Aug 24, 2012
Hi, I have the same problem. I have created a new TM and wanted to move the old one to a new folder, but if I do so, Trados keeps sending messages that he is unable to find the old TM (EVEN IF I HAVE ALREADY REMOVED IT FROM THE SETTINGS -> tools -> options -> language pairs. I have removed the old TM from ALL language pairs). This is indeed a strange behavior. I cannot delete a TM because Trados won't allow me to work! export the old TM to a new TM
Aug 24, 2012
In that case, I do not change the old TM location and create a new TM in a new location, then, export the old TM and import it to the new one so that Trados recognizes it.
Or, if you may have a particular project, I would try deleting the current project file and creating a new one from scratch.

Have you removed all references?

Hi Bruno,
This behaviour is being improved in an update due shortly, but in the meantime have you also made sure that there are no references to this old TM in the TM maintenance View, or in any old projects? If you have perhaps also try deleting the default profile template?
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio2\UserProfiles
Create a copy of the Default.sdlprofile and rename it to e.g. NEWDefault.sdlprofile
Copy the “NEWDefault.sdlprofile” and paste it into the folder: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\10.1.0.0\UserProfiles\Builtin
Open Studio now and open the “NEWDefault.sdlprofile” and run the process ones more.
Regards
Paul
