I can´t save my sdlxliff file as word and I need to deliver the work urgently or the agency will refuse to pay all my previous work on this project too. When I try to save the target text I get a message that Trados 2011 cannot find the directory. How can I fix this ASAP please?

Pretranslate Aug 27, 2012

Maybe you changed the location of one of your files during the project? Or did you change the content of the source file?

One solution if neither of the above suggestions apply would be to take your source file and pretranslate it against your TM, which should contain all the translated segments.

HTH,
Emma

Thank you for your suggestion, but as my mother used to say "Necessity is the mother of invention," what I did was click on Preview before printing and the text came up as an html bilingual text. I cut and pasted the bilingual text and saved it as a word doc, and then I cut the target text from the bilingual text and..... lo and behold, I have got a word file!!!

Now I can click the project as finished and take more care not to move files about when I am working on a project in the futureicon_eek.gif
