Hi all

When working with packages in Studio, the software slows right down to ridiculous levels. This happens most often when the segments contain text, i.e. when I've already translated most of them. Any action - confirming segments, moving between segments, saving the document, using concordance - causes Studio to 'hang' for long periods, sometimes up to 10 minutes at a time, before returning to normal. Hi all

When working with packages in Studio, the software slows right down to ridiculous levels. This happens most often when the segments contain text, i.e. when I've already translated most of them. Any action - confirming segments, moving between segments, saving the document, using concordance - causes Studio to 'hang' for long periods, sometimes up to 10 minutes at a time, before returning to normal. My computer's fan goes into overdrive at the same time. As you can imagine, this is creating enormous delays for me. Today it took me three hours to proofread a few final segments and prepare a return package for delivery!

Can anyone suggest what this might be caused by? I suspect the TM, which is over 1 gigabyte in size, but I'm not sure.
