Format text in TagEditor/property painter

Hi all

I was wondering if TagEditor included a feature like the MS "property painter"?

When I get some fuzzy matches from the TM but with a different formatting (font, bold, etc.), I found no other way than Copy back source text to get the correct formatting > copy the TM translation in Word and apply the right formatting, then copy the correctly formatted translation back in TagEditor...

Isn't there a more convenient way to do?

I guess that is not that important as fonts are defined in the tags, but I'd prefer to have the target look like the source.

Thanks for your help!
Chris

Hi Chris,

Have you tried the formatting tags for Bold, Underline or Italics: you can find the icons in the Tags toolbar? You should be able to insert the tags in an opened segment, than just type your text between the tags.

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately, it does not apply the same formatting as the source.
If I click on the "B" button, it inserts new tags.

And the main difference was on the fonts between the source and the TM.

Someone told me I could leave the target as is, since the real formatting is stored in the tags.

Thanks again !icon_smile.gif
