SDL Trados "failed to create translation file" error message - help needed

When I want to ctreate *.itd file with SDL, I meet the prompting message,


failed to create translation file

Does anybody meet this kind of message , how to resolve it ?

Unfortunately, your request lacks the most important information without which anybody would be hardly able to help you.

"SDL Trados" - which version?

"I want to ctreate *.itd file with SDL" - this statement is completely unclear, please be more specific and clarify what exactly are you trying to do and with which software.
