I am using Trados 2007 Freelance version, my Ms Word version is 2010.

When I open a word file and want to use Translator Workbench, I cannot find the Trados button at the top, but it is ok in TagEditor.

Are they hidden somewhere and how do I make them apppear at the top?

Thank you for your suggestion in advance!

Make sure that Trados, MultiTerm and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
are not running
Find the file Trados8.dotm in the folder C:\Program Files\SDL International\T2007\TT\Templates.
Copy Trados8.dotm into the following folder:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup\
Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup\
If the folder already contains a Trados8.dotm file, overwrite it
Find the file MultiTerm8.dotm in the folder C:\Program Files\SDL\SDL Multiterm\Multiterm8\Templates\.
Copy MultiTerm8.dotm into the following folder:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup\
Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup\
If the folder already contains a MultiTerm8.dotm file, overwrite it.
