HTML target files won't save as HTML files in Tag Editor (Trados 2007)

I used to translate HTML files with Tag Editor so all tags would remain intact. Saving the target file was easy. But not anymore. If I save the target file now ("Save Target As" in Tag Editor), and give the name and press SAVE, the file doesn't have a format (like HTML). This is very strange, because when I save the file, the "save as" field states: "HTML Documents (Target Only) (*.htm, *.html ...etc.)".

So why can't the target file be saved as an HTML file anymore?

I use:
- SDL Trados 2007, Tag Editor
- Windows 2007

Thanks for all the help. Sorry if the question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it on the forum.

Then what's the actual format you saved Nov 14, 2012

Ellis, have you tried rename the saved file with html suffix? Can it be normally open?
BTW. I think you intended to type Windows 7 not Windows 2007.

thanks! Nov 14, 2012

The format was nothing and could not be opened.

Thanks for your idea, I saved the file again and typed .html after the file name and it works! So thanks!
