Hi,
I have just upgraded to Studio 2011, this included Multiterm 2011. Studio is running ok, but I am not being able to open Multiterm. Each time I double click on the program iconto open it I receive a message saying that it stopped working. Does anybody know what the problem might be?
Thanks.

Hello Sandra --

What you describe sounds familiar -- I dimly recall having similar problems when first installing Studio. I think the solution has to do with the order of installation (MultiTerm first, or Studio first), though sadly I cannot remember for certain which combination worked.

Try uninstalling both applications, then reinstalling.

If anyone has any more details, please post. icon_smile.gif

Canon printer? Nov 27, 2012

Hi Sandra

This sounds familiar to me...

Can you have a look into following KB article:
http://kb.sdl.com/kb/article?ArticleId=3884&source=article&c=12&cid=23

If this applies just follow the resolution steps.

If the problem persists please log a Solution Finder case through http://kb.sdl.com .

Kind regards
Richard

Hello Richard,

Following your instructions, I have already uninstalled almost all the files, but there is a file named "SDL Multiterm 2011 SP2 Remove Suite of Products" left, do I have to removed this as well Wouldn't it affect the SDL Trados software?
I would appreciate your help with this.
Thank you
