My icons seem to have disappeared--.xliff and packages etc now all appear as a single icon, the one usually designating a file that can't be opened (resembles a tiny web page with a blue stripe across the top and a few coloured dots on the white field). Is there a way to fix this? The problem seems to have appeared about the time I switched from a licensed 2009 to the 2011 I recently purchased. All packages etc that were done beforehand now have this universal symbol. What to do?

View -> Toolbars Jan 14, 2013

Hi Anne,

Under View -> Toolbars, see what options are checked.

Also try Refresh View (F5) and/or Reset Window Layout.

HTH,

Bernard

I don't think this is tha case, Bernard Jan 14, 2013

I believe Anne's issue is related to file type associations in Windows.

Possible answers here, here, or here.
