Hi everybody

I am so surprised I can't find the SDL Trados icon in my MS 2007 and MS 2003.

Any body how can help, I have a project on hand and I don't know what to do, I tried to repair my MS Office but I still have the same problem.

Trados8.dot & .dotm Jan 21, 2013

Hi Secilia,

Looks like your macros are not longer enabled. Under Templates and Add-ins in both 2007 & 2003 see whether the respective check boxes are ticked if they are - you may have to copy them again into the Microsoft Startup folder, paths vary according to your OS.

HTH,

Bernard

Office Button Jan 21, 2013

In Word 2007, click on the Office Button, top left icon next to Home and Save. Select Word Options in the dialog that opens, click on Add-Ins, check whether Trados8.dotm is listed if not, select Templates in the Manage dropdown list -> Go. If Trados8.dotm is listed, check the box if unchecked. If it's not listed, it's not the Microsoft Startup folder, so you need to copy it back into the Startup folder but I need to know what your OS is to give you the full path.

The standard path is the following:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup and Trados8.dotm should be in there.
