Does anyone know if it's possible to import a bilingual .ttx file into Studio 2009 and how this is done? I've translated 18,000 words in TagEditor and just sent it for proofing, and now the client tells me that the proofer doesn't actually have Trados. I'm not very happy about having to implement the changes manually, as this would take ages, and the client suggested that I import the file into Studio and send it for proofing as a bilingual .doc file converted from the Studio file. However, I have no idea how to do this, provided it is possible in the first place.
If it's not possible, does anyone have any other ideas how to avoid having to implement the proofer's changes manually...?
Edit: Sorry, I posted the question too soon. It seems that you can actually just open a bilingual .ttx file in Studio and save it as sdlxliff - I had no idea this was possible. I encountered some problems in the conversion process (invalid characters in the source file) but solved those, as well. Fingers crossed that importing the proofed file back into Studio and saving it as .ttx goes smoothly!
