I've converted a .txml file and opened it in Trados Studio 2011. I finished the translation and saved the file as .sdxliff. I sent the file to my client, but they say they can't open the file with Trados, while I can open and see it properly.
Any suggestions?

save as txml Mar 13, 2013

txml in, txml out

I know it is unbelievable for some Trados users but some agencies prefer other CAT tools:)

Not sure this was the question... Mar 13, 2013

... although you have surprised me that some users use tools other than oursicon_wink.gif

vegia said they can't open the file with Trados. So:

- what version of Trados do they have?
- did you really mean Trados or do they have Wordfast?
- If they have Studio then maybe they need the TXML plugin to get the TXML themselves?

I think a little more information is needed here.
