I am working with Trados Studio 2011 Freelance edition SP2R.
When trying to create a project package (or 2009-project package) these functions are greyed out and are not active.

Why is this? Is it the same with 2009, that you need a pro version?

Then: How can a 2009 user edit an xliff file saved in 2011? They now always get an error message when opening 2011 files.

Regards
Nick

... you do require the Pro version. The sdlxliff files are editable both ways though. The problem may come if you create an sdlxliff in 2011, then send it to someone using 2009 and they have to save the target file rather than return the sdlxliff. This is because they won;t have the filetypes that were used in 2011 to create the sdlxliff in the first place. But they will be able to work on the sdlxliff and give it back.

Regards

Paul
