I need help. I try to open the new file to start translating by SDL trados.
When I try to open the new source file, I get an error message: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
What does this mean?

You didn't say what format your source file was, but I assume it was an MS Office file. The following thread has a few solutions to that problem:
