Dear all,
after I prepared a file to translate with Studio, the programm automatically gives the dates as context matches: 4 December 2012 becomes Dienstag, 4. Dezember 2012.
Can anybody tell me how I can change this, so that I have ***4. Dezember 2012*** only (without the days of the week) in my translation?
Looking forwards to your help.
BR, Kristin

You could do...

... this the hard way by either switching off number/date recognition before you start working in the file, or search and replace afterwards using regex.
But the easiest solution is to change the long date format here (project Settings and the specific language pair, rather than All Languages):
Then the date format you want will be substituted like this: ... See more

Incorrect date format

I just came across this by chance. Just want to add the remark that the date format is wrong for German: You will still have to manually add a non-breaking space every time. It's a shame that Studio can't handle this on its own.
