received word files, using Trados Studio 2011, client wants ttx files

Hi,
I received the word files to the project and I am translating the, in Trados Studio 2011 freelance version as I do not have Trados 2007 any more in my computer. The client wants the deliver in ttx.fles.
Is there a way to do that?
Appreciated.

Hi, it has downloads which do not help here - nd the legacy converter download link does not work.
Any working link or practical advice?
How about link to Trados 200t trial version?

What doesn't work with the method described there?

Alternatively, you can just ask your client to send you a ttx file (prepared with Studio 2007) together with the Word document.

TeeTeeXit not in downloads - I found the solution anyway Apr 24, 2013

Just that the TeeTeeXit application is not in the download center

But thanks any way, I managed to find my old trados 2007 installation exe and installed it and opened the files with that one. I have found though that Tags are a mess in the Studio file which are opened from ttx - any advice? ▲ Collapse

While I have a copy of Studio 2011 for post and pre-processing, I mostly use MemoQ. Can't help you much with tag issues, I'm afraid...
