Migration of Trados 2007 Autotext to Trados Studio 2011

I have recently migrated from Trados 2007 to Trados Studio 2011.
Other than the unfortunate new assignment of some shortcut cuts (such as Del no longer cuts to the clipboard; some of which. however, can be reassigned), a feature a miss is Autotext as implemented in Trados 2007.
Alt-F3 = add entry
F3 = fetch entry
This allowed the easy creation of a list of common translations that can be retrieved by simply marking the untranslated word and pressing the F3 to retrieve ... See more

The Autotext as implemented in Trados Studio 2011 is a poor substitute. Is there some way of implementing the previous behavior?
