I have recently migrated from Trados 2007 to Trados Studio 2011.
Other than the unfortunate new assignment of some shortcut cuts (such as Del no longer cuts to the clipboard; some of which. however, can be reassigned), a feature a miss is Autotext as implemented in Trados 2007.
Alt-F3 = add entry
F3 = fetch entry
This allowed the easy creation of a list of common translations that can be retrieved by simply marking the untranslated word and pressing the F3 to retrieve the translation; two keyboard actions.
The Autotext as implemented in Trados Studio 2011 is a poor substitute. Is there some way of implementing the previous behavior?
