I've downloaded the Microsoft Visio Filter app to allow me to translate Microsoft Visio files. Unfortunately, despite promising 'seamless integration', it doesn't seem to do anything, let alone do it seamlessly. When creating a project in Studio 2011 for the Visio files, they are all listed as 'Reference' rather than 'Translatable'. Any ideas?

the Visio filter is like Studio based on the Microsoft .NET FrameWork. The installer checks if the .NET FrameWork is installed. This should usually be the case as many, many apps are based on the .NET FrameWork. If it's missing the installer tries to download and install .NET from the Microsoft server.
For some reason this seems to fail on your machine. I suggest, that you download and install the .NET FrameWork yourself:
Translate faster & easier, using a sophisticated CAT tool built by a translator / developer.
Accept jobs from clients who use SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast & major CAT tools.
