I never have any problems importing project packages, but now I repeatedly get the msg that the path, filename or both are too long when importing a package in Studio 2011! I tried shorter paths etc. but no luck.
Any advice?

a shorter path usually works... Aug 13, 2013

Hi,
I always have this problem with a client that sends packages of .xml files with extremely long filenames.
I would suggest you kept on trying to open your package in a folder in a shorter path. It should work eventually.
Good luck!
